I can't thank DAVCAE enough for providing me with an opportunity to come in contact with you. We first met at DAVCMC Office at New Delhi during CBP for Teachers of English at Senior Secondary Level. Your passion for teaching and your style of imparting training left me mesmerized. You opened a window of learning for many like me. Your sessions on Literature deepened our understanding and Hands-on assignments on the writing section ignited us to take writing assignments to the classroom in an altogether different way to gainfully engage the students.
The new normal made the boundaries disappear and I could connect more often with you by attending the webinars conducted by you for CBSE and other players in the field of education. Your sessions on MCQs have been eye-opener and helped me design good MCQs and left me craving for more. Your session on Art Integration gave clarity about what all needed to be done and ways to integrate art in day to day teaching .
You're a treasure house of knowledge, someone who is continuously striving to share her expertise with others and empower them. I'm really lucky to have come in contact with you and gain from your expertise.

I came to know about the ALS session through the English Competence group. The session was an eye opener to me. I understood the requirements with clarity that enabled me to help my students better. Your style of explaining the concepts and ideas is commendable. This made me look for your YouTube channel which further helped me. It inspired me to attend most of the live programmes you hosted and conducted as well.
Your sessions have been a true guide, enriching and engaging. Thanks for being such a mentor. Words can never express my gratitude.
Thank you once again.

My mind races back to mid-2014, when I was in Delhi to attend the ASL Master-Trainers’ Workshop at Salwan Public School and had the fortune of being a part of the elite group led by Ruchi Ma’am. The next five days were a game changer for me. Her oratory; a keen eye for detail; clear-headedness and an ebullient demeanor made me a fan of hers!
The good luck streak was to continue! 2015—I was at CBSE’s office, Gurugram to attend a session and lo! One of the most challenging segments was to be conducted by no one but her!! The fan in me became a silent disciple aka Eklavya – fervently praying that I could achieve even a fraction of her hold, her command of the language!!
Recently a window of learning opened up for many like me when we came to know that she was to hold a session on MCQs – Writing Skills. This session was not only an eye-opener but left me craving for more. One session after the other, and one to one interaction with her during these made me reach a simple conclusion: She’s a treasure house of knowledge beyond thought.
My mentor – Ms. Ruchi Sengar, is a complete natural, with a love for the language so palpable that she wins over people without any effort. Her charisma is a complete draw. It could be no one but her, coming up with the unique idea of launching a website for English teachers – an all-inclusive, compendious portal. That it will be the most colorful feather in her already feathered cap, requires no validation. At the risk of sounding a brag, I specifically mention that I feel immensely honored to have been made a part of this ambitious project. Each day of learning and unlearning in the past few months with her has made me evolve as a teacher like never before.
I hope for nothing but the growth of this venture. I have every reason to believe that all the hard work and perseverance that have gone into bringing it alive will make it a humongous success. This is ONLY the start of something BIG!!
Best Wishes and Regards

Just 5 minutes in the company of Ruchi Sengar on that November morning in 2019 at the CBSE office in New Delhi, and I knew that I was in the company of someone to reckon with. Over the next couple of hours I realised that the person sitting across the table was a subject expert, an out of the box thinker ,an involved listener, a proactive problem solver and above all a person with a large ,loving heart .
The ease with which Ruchi connected not only with all the members of the ELT team but also with the helper staff of the office left me completely charmed. Ever since then, it's been a pleasure to connect with Ruchi for all things big and small, professional and personal. She gives her 100 percent to all that she undertakes and she does it with a smile and an unmistakable elam that spells brand 'Ruchi Sengar '!

My journey with Ma'am as an ELT content creator, in the capacity of an intern, began in the most fascinating and unpredictable manner. Perhaps my first real job ever, I applied for the position via my college's placement cell and was soon at her place for the interview, a place which was to be my office and a second home for the next two years. We'd spend the weekends working on innovative and creative ideas on making English more accessible yet challenging to students of the 21st century, a time in history that demands a critical and imaginative faculty from the fast growing young minds.
Our target age-group was of students who were in classes VI, VII & VIII- the most crucial formative years for them.
The kind of content we created every time we met, whether on breezy October days or steaming hot June days (reminds me of the steaming hot rotis she would lovingly make for me during lunch when I could not bring my own from home while we stood in the kitchen discussing reading comprehension passage questions), yeah so a rather long sentence but yes, the content we created would blow my mind at times.
A novice, I would marvel at her content creation skills as she'd describe why we formulated a certain question in a certain way. Through all this alone, I felt like I understood how an eighth-grader's brain would actually work when he/she would pick up our book and begin thinking about the texts from a critical yet creative lens. The content was such (as such was Ma'am's brilliance) that the child would no longer be spoon-fed the simple answers of who, what, when and how but rather employ his/her existing moral, ethical, analytical and intellectual skills.
Her creativity and freshness of ideas as well as the myriad ways of presenting them would inevitably spill over the graphic stories we created as well as the various activities such as mind maps, diagram based questions and pictorial answer templates that we put together. In those two years, I felt like I did all sorts of degrees and professional courses that I possibly could to cater to the aforementioned grades as well as gained such an immense amount of exposure and experience in content creation which I have observed has impacted my manner and method of teaching and content creation.
Every time I begin creating content, I remember Ma'am guiding me and almost imagine her sitting beside me and urging me to do it differently and in the most beautiful and engaging manner so that the child or the ender reader puts down the book, satisfied and more intellectually enriched.

I would describe Ruchi Sengar as a stalwart in the field of education/ English Language Teaching. Her clarity of thoughts, immaculate approach and original ideas make her unique. The training videos for teachers and content in the form of sample papers for students reflect her drive and passion.
I really appreciate the structured training material prepared by her and the fantastic takeaways which I can put into practice. There are many like me who will be able to carry the lessons learnt and disseminate the knowledge gained from some of her brilliant work.
Wish to keep learning more and more from you, dear Ruchi, the ever dynamic one!

If my life is a patchwork quilt, Ruchi Ma’am is one of the warmest and kindest patches that rests amidst the tenderly knitted others. Since the day I have known her, I have felt guided, guarded and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say, empowered.
Working for her and with her has always been the best gifted privilege. Her subtle guiding methods, simple techniques, agile creativity, make her the best master trainer one can ever learn with. She knows how to make you meet the best of who you could be, your own creative best. Her devotion and dedication that she adds even to the simplest question that she creates cannot be strung into words.
I have learnt some of the best lessons of my life from the best mentor who is so humble, so humane and needless to say so honest. I was once asked, “How do you feel when you work with Ma’am?” I smiled and answered, “I feel that I’m HOME.” -

Ms. Sengar has been an extremely supportive mentor throughout the time I've worked with her. While I continued to work under her, she always kept reiterating that I work "with" her not under her. I think such things really speak about her work ethic. Apart from being a brilliant mentor, she's dedicated towards whatever mission she has set for herself.
Frankly, I've never seen such a cool boss who can also be a call away to console you while you're having a mental breakdown. Ms. Sengar has not only been tremendous at leading me but she has also made sure I become a leader on my own terms while I embarked on this wonderful, enlightening journey.
And the best part about working with her is that she's open to criticism. Yes, she would push you to justify your argument but that's what makes her the best - she demands you to be creative in everything you do. I'm so inspired by her approach towards her work. She didn't only tell me that the sky is the limit but she also made me feel so.
Maybe that's why today, I can confidently pour creativity into anything, experiment, explore, fail, get up, try again -- all gracefully and I owe it all to the beloved, Ms. Sengar!

I came to know about ma’am through a friend of mine who had registered for the ALS Project workshop . I too registered for the workshop and shared the link with some of my friends as well. Some of them also attended the workshop. That’s the beginning. After that there was no looking back.
The association went on increasing. As a true mentor (yes, mentor’s mentor!), she handled us in the troubled times of the question paper pattern, pandemic and also to sail through the Term II ALS project. She envisaged our queries and was gracious enough to answer each one of them to our satisfaction. Sometimes the questions were repetitive, I must say!
Her comprehensive knowledge of the changing tides, her inclusive pedagogical philosophy helped me a lot. The clarity and knowledge gained from the mentor was shared with the students. Last but not the least, as part of your WhatsApp group, I came to be associated with a huge group of educators, that’s a big Bonus! Words fail me to express my gratitude to you. Thank you madam. A mentor must know the challenges the attendees in their orientation programme would be facing. Moreover, there must be a pragmatic strategy for each one to meet both the queries and the challenges. All these perquisites are comprehensively dealt with in the workshops by erudite Ms. Ruchi Sengar. A Teacher's teacher, she knows the subject thoroughly and remains equipped with the latest changes and effective pedagogies that keep emerging with changing times and trends. She keeps her and the participants’ spirit high and intact through her creative and involving activities.
In this time of pandemic when grey areas emerged in the rapidly changing academic scenario she was not less than a Pole star that showed the directions to mentors through her sessions and made them reach the shore of academic excellence successfully.

Ruchi Sengar's training sessions exposed us to many potential areas of our teaching that could be improvised for a much more constructive impact. Irrespective of how many years we have been teaching, each session had something new to deliver, be it a concept, an approach or even the way the content was delivered. I benefited both as a Master Trainer as well as an English language facilitator. Cheers to her for her website , which I am sure would fill a gaping void for English language training for teachers. You may find a number of sites offering activity sheets and lesson plans for classroom teaching etc. but there is a lacuna specifically with respect to English language teacher training. Her website, I am sure will successfully address this need .
I am happy I met Ms. Ruchi Sengar on an online educational portal. Since then, I haven't ceased to admire her and wish to continue cherishing this association in the years ahead.

Ruchi Maám came as a life support when we were thrust into the dark expanse of sea, praying for assistance when CBSE introduced English Project-portfolio , Term 2. I will be ever grateful to my friend Swagata, an English facilitator who shared the registration link for Ruchi Maám ALS, two-days webinar .
I was struck by her mesmerizing demeanor, patience to handle any query raised by us while walking us through the 5- step process of English portfolio creation. She has eased out my frayed nerves with the hands-on that she provided us during the 2-days session. Next hurdle was when the publishers were mushrooming MCQ based questions guidebooks with spurious options and confusing the pupils further and we were left at the mercy of such materials, it was just then she entered as a guardian angel to hold our hands on request and mentored us as to how to create authentic MCQs. In no time the fraternity of teachers created a substantial pool of authentic MCQs. I attended my very first webinar, conducted by Maám on 16 September 2021.
Ever since, there is no looking back. In this New Normal phase , where we are unlearning and relearning so many things to acclimatize with the new system. Ma'am's composure, integrity, command over the subject, and easy way of addressing all concerns regarding English core rationalized syllabus has help us march forward with full confidence. I wish to be under her tutelage always! I’m truly excited to hear that Maám is launching her website, an endeavor worth appreciation. She has earned several accolades in her teaching journey and you can count on me when I say whatever she takes up will be novel and beneficial to both the teaching fraternity and pupils Maám you have turned every nightmare into a sweet dream! Website launching will be another dream creation! Looking forward to witness it in the New Year, 2022 My prayers and good wishes for its success!
